UNDESA-KIPA International Symposium

UNDESA, KIPA (Korea Institute for Public Administration), and the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs (MOGAHA) jointly hosted an international symposium on “Governance, Public Administration and ICT for Implementing the UN Post-2015 Development Agenda”. 

The main goal of the symposium is to explore the role of governance and public administration in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which will succeed the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) ending this year. In attendance were senior officials from ministries related to Korea-Africa relations, delegates from the foreign ministries, and experts and staff members from academia.

UNPOG participated in the symposium, and Mr. Keping Yao (Governance and Public Administration Expert) moderated a session entitled  ICT Enabled Governance and Public Administration for the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
