2025 Autumn Roundtable on Digital Innovation and its Legal and Development Implications (31 October 2025, Incheon, Republic of Korea)

At the invitation of the Korea Branch of the International Law Association, DPIDG/UNPOG participated in the 2025 Autumn Roundtable on Digital Innovation and its Legal and Development Implications. The Roundtable was co-hosted and organized by Korean Branch of the International Law Association, The Development of International Law in Asia-Korea, AI-Data Law Centre, Legal Institute, Inha University Law School, Korea and College of Business Engineering, University of Suwon, Korea. The objective of the Roundtable was to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue among scholars and practitioners in international development and international law on the transformative impact of innovative technologies while promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among stakeholders to address the opportunities and challenges these technologies present. DPIDG/UNPOG introduced UN DESA/DPIDG/UNPOG and its mandate and delivered a presentation on DESA’s publication on E-Government Survey, as well as the National Data Governance Framework developed by UN DESA.
